…that was an awesome album release show! Thanks so much to everyone that came! It meant so much to us to see Tritone filled with all of our friends and fans and to play a show with such great bands!
The first band to play was Cow Pals – and they were amazing! They do an awesome job of combining fun, catchy lyrics and melodies, with serious musicality – indie rock perfection. They just put out an EP that you should listen to here.
Next up were the Levee Drivers. These guys are truly a great band. Tight rhythm section, haunting guitars and harmonica, and vocals that are like a combination of Eric Burden and Johnny Cash.
So after experiencing those great bands, and drinking a few too many adult beverages, it was Betty Iron Thumbs turn to take to the stage. We were really pumped that the show was even happening at all, considering Mike was in the hospital for the majority of the week, only being released the afternoon of the show.
Turns out hospital stays do Mike pretty well – check out “Stirred Up” off of our new album Under the Night!
We are so happy about the show and our new album! Next stop? New York City! Let’s grab some coffee at Pete’s Luncheonette.
